From 1 minute to 3 hours, a Podcast is something that will hold your attention no matter how long it is. When I started listening to Podcasts, I was amazed by how it held my interest because I find it difficult to concentrate on anything. Podcasts for me are a fun and easy way to gain some knowledge and also have a good laugh. Over the past few years I have come across some Podcasts that have really helped me mentally and some that have just not made it to the end. Here is a list of Podcasts that I adore and I am sure you will too.

1. The Straight Shooter Recruiter by Emily Durham:

Career tips are so hard to get by these days, and The Straight Shooter Recruiter is honestly one of the best platforms for great interview and career tips. So I recently started following her Podcasts and the tips that I have received are honestly one of a kind. She goes in-depth about each detail you might need to ace an interview, plus, she is so humble, so funny, and so witty. Her voice just brings a smile to my face, that’s how polite and soothing she is. For someone who is also in the HR field, her tips have helped me through a lot of questions of my own.

2. SimplyPodLogical by SimplyNailogical:

Now if you know about Cristine and her obsession with Nail Polish, you already know about this Podcast. Cristine is a Canadian based Youtuber whose videos are just simply funny. She loves nail polish, has really good humor and I can binge-watch her videos all day. This podcast is even better because she and her boyfriend Ben talk about really deep topics such as “Is Social Media Bad for you” and “What to do when you are stuck at home during this pandemic” with a humorous twist and life advice. Her Podcasts are available on YouTube as well as other platforms.

3. Directionally Challenged by Candice King and Kayla Ewell:

This Podcast is about 30 something-year-old women asking life questions from people who might have the answer. They have featured a lot of celebrities such a Becca Tilly, Nina Dobrev, Jenny Boyd, Paul Wesley and so many more. I have binged on this Podcast so many times because the life advice they give is something that has helped on numerous accounts. The humorous spin on this Podcast just makes it so entertaining and delightful. This Podcast is full of humor, life advice, and answers to life questions. They have their website and they are also available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, etc.

4. Why Won’t You Date Me by Nicole Byer:

This relationship and comedy Podcast is something that will leave you rolling on the floor laughing. Nicole Byer is honestly one of the best Stand-Up Comedian I have come across. This woman is just so full of light and weird witty jokes that it surely is going to put a smile on your face instantly. This Podcast is all about her being perpetually single and trying to answer why. She invites a lot of comedians, friends, or ex-flings to interview their dating life and try to figure out her own.

5. The Double Cleanse by James and Robert Welsh:

Last but not the least, this Podcast is all about Skincare and Makeup that is hosted by the famous twins James and Robert Welsh. I have followed their individual YouTube pages and have implemented a lot of their advice on skincare and makeup in my routine too, so it was bound that this Podcast would have all my attention. Their Podcast is so informative and really helps in understanding how to improve your skin and makeup. They talk about pimples, acne, makeup trends, the realities of social media influencing our lives and so much more.
